In Acuna
Your assigned assessor works through the items directly.
Run point-in-time spot checks and gap assessments across your organisation and its subsidiaries. Each site answers in its own Acuna organisation, using its own accounts. The answers come back to you, reviewed and dated.

WHAT YOU GET
Every site answers the same items, against the same target, in the same format, so the results compare. Answers save as they are entered, so the record is current while it is being filled. Each site's scopes travel with its evaluation, so filtering and scope-restricted visibility work from the moment it is created.
Results arrive two ways: a gap report with per-domain detail, and a workbook in the same column format your teams already import.
The people who know the answers work at the site. Issue the evaluation down and it appears in that subsidiary's own Acuna organisation, assigned to their own named assessor, answered with their own accounts. When they submit, the answers come up to you and the evaluation moves to review.
Each organisation keeps its own users, its own data and its own permissions. What moves between them is the assessment and its answers.

THE SHAPE OF IT
The stepper carries the date each stage was reached and who the evaluation is waiting on, and offers one next action, shown when it is yours to take. Review is part of the path: an evaluation reaches Completed through it.
Launching copies every requirement, measure and control the evaluation covers. From that point it carries its own set. Update the framework catalog, reword requirements, move your live compliance forward: the assessment keeps the wording and the scope it was answered against.
That is what makes it evidence. The record states what was true on the day, and goes on stating it.
REVIEW
A reviewer works item by item with the respondent's answer in view: keep the value as it stands, or record a different one with a comment. Each item carries its verdict (Validated or Adjusted), and the respondent's original answer stays on the record beside it.
Gap scores, exports and write-back all run on the effective value: the reviewer's where there is one, the respondent's otherwise. Both remain on the record, which is what an auditor asks to see.
Completing an external evaluation opens a dispatch step listing every item below target. Set the title, the narrative the local team will read, and a severity: Major, Minor or Observation. Dispatch creates them inside the subsidiary's own Acuna organisation under Assure → Issues, recorded as raised by an external audit and named to the evaluation that raised them. They reach the local team in My Actions.
For your own organisation, Apply as baseline pushes validated answers into live requirement compliance and maturity. It asks for confirmation, applies to framework-sourced items, and takes an effective date, so the history lands in the period the assessment reflects.
